Oh and the beds...Oh my God the beds. I have a back issue and I 've been in 5 star hotels that could not accommodate my issue. But these mattresses and pillows were exceptional. We did not stay long so not much more to say.

Situated on the foothills of Pohorje in the southern part of Maribor, Hotel Bajt Maribor is a 5-minute drive to the town centre and to the ski centre. My experience at Hotel Bajt was outstanding. The staff was exceptionally warm, helpful and very accommodating. The room was impeccably clean, cosy, and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant visit. The service was excellent, with the staff going the extra mile to ensure a smooth and stress-free stay. Breakfast was served on a charming terrace overlooking a small garden. Various options include a broad selection of cold cut meats and cheeses, yoghurt, oatmeal, cereal and fruits, along with tea and filter coffee. The hotel provides free car parking for guests. It’s located quite a distance from the city centre, which takes around 10-15 minutes by either bus (number G6) or taxi. Fortunately, the hotel is in a peaceful area, enabling one to enjoy a restful night’s sleep without any disruptions. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking excellent hospitality and comfort.

Set in peaceful surroundings, 4 km from the centre of Maribor and 1.5 km from the highway exit Maribor-Vzhod, the Hotel Vila Emei offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. We had visited this place before and booked it again because we were completely satisfied. The room is spacious and clean, the shower easy to move in. Although the motorway is near we could sleep well.
