Hotel Palatín in Oravský Podzámok features 3-star accommodation with a garden and a terrace. Among the various facilities are a bar and ski storage space. European cuisine is served at the restaurant.... Pretty much everything - the maisonette idea was brilliant. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the staff attentive and hard working - and the view was worth 10 times what we paid. If you want to see Oravsky Castle (and you do) then this is the place to stay. Breakfast was great but beware of the pizzas - they are giant sized.

A well run guest house. Impeccably clean and with warm welcoming hosts. We enjoyed our time here and they were very flexible to accommodate our group. The house is set in a very quiet and picturesque location that is at the same time right in the heart of the village centre. Highly recommended stay here. Thanks Family Skerda. Amidst peaceful countryside of the Orava region, Oravský Háj Garden Hotel & Resort features free indoor pool, hot tub, as well massage treatments and sun beds for a fee. - Nice, clean apartment. They allowed us to place 3 baby cribs, which was very convenient. - All staff members were extremely nice - from housekeeping to reception, restaurant, and the various facilities. - The hotel complex offers many great facilities and attractions, including free boat rides on the lake, free fishing gear, a petting area with rabbits, and other animals to see, horse/pony riding for a small fee, bicycles (we didn’t try, so not sure if free), a very well-equipped kids’ playroom, and of course, a pool, jacuzzi, and spa area with four different saunas and a cold-water pool. Some areas weren’t relevant due to the rainy weather (outdoor playground, outdoor pool), but we didn’t feel like we were missing anything. - Breakfast was nice, and the staff also prepared eggs to our liking and porridge for the kids. For lunch and dinner, there’s also a restaurant with a variety of dishes for both adults and children. Bottom line: Highly recommended, even (or especially) off-season, since everything feels spacious and calm.

We were 6 we sleep so well . The owner is so Nice . The bath thermal is just at 5 minutes and you can have easy hikes .

Featuring a garden, barbecue facilities and views of mountain, Chata R - Horska chata is set in Dolný Kubín, 15 km from Orava Castle. Lovely location, lovely cottage, lovely views. Excellent kitchen equipment. Bit too far from ski slopes for walking and too close for driving :)
