The room was just perfect, spacious, nice, perfectly funished, and with a terrific view, all in all, the best ! have had so far in Taiwan! The host is very nice, welcoming, and supportive. The breakfast was great, and they provided special food me (I am a vegetarian). I enjoyed staying at Lake B&B very much, and I can highly recommend this place! If I will come to Taiwan again, I will definitely be there.

Interesting additional thing - apparently this hotel owner is into HiFi and music, rooms are equipped with high-end audio systems, and there is a special daily "music hour" in one of the entertainment areas. This hotel is an excellent choice for Taiwan people who want to get an experience of staying in an old-style fancy European hotel without travelling to Europe, but it is also just a good hotel to stay if you are visiting Taiwan mountains. While this hotel is not cheap, it gives you good value for money - room rate includes dinner (and breakfast), and this is true 5-course dinner, expertly prepared by a really good chef.

The retro-style sofa set and antique furniture were also fully functional, adding both character and comfort to the space. The wide hallway led to a delightful secret room, providing children with their own cozy retreat. Both afternoon tea and breakfast were beautifully presented and delicious, reflecting the same level of artistry and care evident in the hotel’s design. A truly remarkable stay that blends aesthetics, comfort, and culinary excellence.
