We even had the opportunity to ride a buffalo and experience traditional farming practices, which was a unique and unforgettable experience. The trek ended with a one-night stay in the forest, where we slept in tents under the stars and enjoyed a bonfire. Overall, I highly recommend Zizi Homestay and the "Buffalo Trek" for anyone looking to experience the beauty and culture of Sapa in an authentic and unforgettable way.

We had a pleasant stay at Sweet Time Hotel for two nights. The room was spacious, even the bathroom too. We also had a yummy breakfast. The owner's been kind & helpful, which we're thankful for. We arrived very early in the morning but she let us stay at the reception and leave our stuff there. She even helped us book a shuttle to the bus stop back to Hanoi.

Absolutely amazing staff, very friendly, we travelled with a baby and everybody was very attentive and cared for us. Sapa in winter is cold, so be ready for this. We got an extra heater due to the baby which was good, but pack warm clothes since the rooms do get cold at night (even during the day). But hot water, heating lamps in the shower, they try the best. Food and breakfast (1 of 6 options) is very good. The offer taxi service from/to Lao Cai, Sapa, etc. Can recommend it, I guess in summer it’s even better.
