They used it for their living, so you can expect proper well equiped house. warm, with kitchen where you will not miss anything. and to watch HarryPotter with kids in their Harry Potter room, is unforgetable experience. We’ve been staying at lots of accommodations on our frequent journeys through Germany and Austria, but this place STANDS OUT ! It is not just the standing location and the villa itself,it’s the family who runs the place. From the reception to the dinner in their restaurant the owner made us feel so welcome. We had dinner relevant to a 5 star restaurant meal, freshly cooked and one of the best breakfast for a small place like this. Good luck to the people owning this place! The house is located very close to Ossiach Lake and in a strategic position for visiting all of Carinthia, since it is close to Villach and within an hour's drive of most destinations. The house and kitchen were equipped with everything necessary for long stays (two hair dryers, washing machine, dryer, pots and pans, cooking utensils,...). The owner, Petra, was very kind and always willing to help. I am especially grateful to her for immediately recommending that we purchase the Kärnten Card, which provides free access to many attractions in the area. The garden is well maintained and contains various playground equipment for children, a tennis table, and a barbecue (unfortunately, with all the things we had to do, we didn't have time to use the latter, but we still enjoyed the garden and deck chairs to relax after our walks and visits during the day).
