The house was spacious and well-equipped, along with a large, beautiful terrace. The sauna was excellent. The friendly owner provided extra BBQ equipment, making our stay even more enjoyable. Cristina and René have created a haven of peace and comfort and are exquisite hosts. The apartment is well-equipped with high-quality and tasteful furnishings. The bed is supercomfy. What made our stay not just excellent but extraordinary was the exceptional care and thoughtfulness put into the space and a responsiveness by our hosts to our every need or request. Also, it was wonderful to have bicycles during our stay. It gave us the opportunity to explore the beautiful area of the Starnberger See, but also the villages in the rolling hills to the east of the lake. Cristina and René's place could not be recommended highly enough.

This hotel sits RIGHT on the lake and it was a breeze to walk down to the lovely lounge chairs and jump into the water. (The most clean and beautiful lake I have ever been in!) Our room overlooked the lake. It was a wonderful room with full amenities, a lot of extra space, comfy beds and even a fan. (We were there during a VERY hot spell and most other hotels didn’t have fans and NONE had air conditioning.) The balcony door stayed open all night long due to the heat without bug in sight! Just an amazing feeling space all the way around. We ate both lunch and dinner at the patio restaurant and enjoyed very well prepared meals with polite and knowledgeable servers. There were no rules about swimming in the lake, like there often is in the US, so we also went swimming again after dinner. I cannot wait to go back again, especially since we realized upon check out that they also rent bikes! Parking was free and super easy to get to.
