Our hosts Tina and Simon were a wonderful couple, they met us on arrival and showed us the apartment which was stunning and comfortable, and the added extra of tea/coffee, milk, cereal, eggs and beautiful Scottish Shortcake and Scottish fudge cake and or course the roses chocolates. Large historic building, very impressive features, but decorated in a modern way. Although it wasn’t a cold November, a wood burning stove was lit in the dining room, giving the room a warm and cosy atmosphere. We had a delicious meal, perfectly cooked. The owner was very friendly and helpful, as soon as we had checked in, he took our luggage to our room without being asked. My husband is disabled but likes to do things himself even if he struggles so this was a huge help. All in all, a lovely overnight stay, I would recommend highly.

Jo has created a super place for a stay. She seems to have thought about everything that guests would want. Spacious accommodation and comfortable. Great breakfast. Jo went out of her way, calling the local inn while we unpacked to ensure that we could be squeezed in for a late evening meal.

Literally everything, from the wonderful location surrounded by fields and birds, to the superb accommodation, brand new, beautifully designed . Then a superb breakfast. Also only few minutes drive to the Lockerbie centre . They could have charged twice as much and would still have been worth it. And very nice host too. One of the very best places /value for money that I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world I have travelled.

We travel to the North of Scotland regularly from Lincolnshire and so have stayed at an array of accomodation at the half way mark. Without doubt, this is the most comfortable, relaxing and friendly place we have stayed. The children loved it and the adults were able to relax quickly. The house is utterly beautiful, the bathroom is incredible and Jo is the most fantastic host. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely everything. Our second visit here and wont be our last. This little hidden gem is probably the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Only 90 minutes from our own house, it really is a home from home.
