The cabin is very cosy with an incredible view. A great spot for some quiet chill time as well as a good base for Semuc Champey. Remy and Darina are excellent hosts and the home cooked dinners were delicious.

Great value for money! Basic hostel 5 min tuk tuk ride away from Semuc Champey. They have a lovely small restaurant that also serves vegetarian meals. You can book your bus tickets at the reception. Lovely staff.

A really enchanting place with great pool, very much in the middle of nature, lots of wildlife noises and dramatic hill slope views. The restaurant had a decent enough menu and was very good value. The hotel organised our full-day tour of Samuc Champey the day after our arrival and it was the most superb day, including caving, tubing and the pools. We then stayed for another day and just enjoyed resting by the pool. (note: the transport to and from SC is not for the faint hearted as you’re packed in like sardines on the back of a pick up truck on unmade roads for several miles on some crazy inclines, but we found it added another hilarious dimension to what turned out to be an awesome day).

The place is absolutely amazing! So cozy huts in the beautiful nature! Nice stuff working all the day, cleaning and etc. Good food at the restaurant. Just to notice, loud music every evening. Not a minus for a hostel, but maybe not so exciting for nature lovers😀

The location was peaceful along the river. Nice family run style hotel We stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the river which was nice and private. The tour of Semuc Champey organised through the hotel was exceptional - the guide was amazing. If you're planning on staying here please organise with the hotel - hotel pickup with a full day of activities.

The isolated location of this hotel in the nature and by the river is perfect. The staff members have all been super friendly and so committed to making our stay fantastic. The lobby is amazing. The food is delicious.

Pick up and drop off at the bus station was very helpful and welcoming. The food that we had during our stay was excellent and so affordable. Olga was so kind. The property in general gave a really homely feel and it was very nice for the money.

The staff here were outstanding. They are really what made this experience so fantastic. The accommodations themselves were quite minimal and not exactly what I was expecting or used to. But the experience with the staff and their arranged tour to Semuc Champey made the whole experience outstanding.
