The apartment was great, It has exceeded my expectations, we had everything we needed. The Host was super friendly and responsive. Thank you to the entire team at Hotel Materra who always had a smile for me! My stay was simply fabulous from the moment I stepped in until my departure after 4 days. What a good surprise this place was, somewhat of a hidden gem in the countryside of Osijek! The hotel was designed by a local Architect with so much style and attention to the details that it's hard not to fall in love with the place. You have to experience it yourself to understand. I loved wandering around and sit in various places during my stay and I could not get bored of it. I am a well traveled person staying in fancy hotels around the world. I can easily say that the facilities of this place are 5 stars and with the best quality equipments (bedroom, bathrom, gym, spa, pool, sitting areas, BEST coffee and super stylish decoration). The owner has achieved a master piece and I can't wait to see the future developments around the hotel which will certainly turn this hotel into a destination on its own! Congratulations!!

Very nice apartment, decorated with good taste and with everything you need. Easy check-in and especially check-out, which was very convenient for us. You need to inform the owner about the approximate arrival hour and to call half an hour in advance. We received the keys and answers to all our questions. For the checkout is not needed to meet the owner which is an advantage if you plan to leave early, like we did. The owner is really customer oriented and very open to help for any question.

The location makes it very easy to get into the city centre on foot as well as to drive out of the city via the motorway network. It has excellent, state of the art kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Impeccably clean. Set back from the road so traffic can't be heard at all. There is a covered outdoor seating area for summer evenings. Insect screens in all windows. There simply wasn't anything we could possibly think of that could be seen as missing or faulty. The value we received for money in May 2025 was excellent.

Very well equiped apartment... After a long time of my traveling I was really fascinated by this apartment, because the owner is focusing on small details ... forexample: Water and can of coke for all visitors on the kitchen table, package of the basic bathroom equipment - face tampons, ear cleaning sticks , toothbrush if you forget. This equipment you sometimes don´t find in good hotels. Apartment was very clean and you just can feel like at home from the beginning. I was really very satisfied.

I love this apartment! It is my go-to- place when staying in Osijek, as it is in very quiet neighborhood, easily reachable, super cozy and comfortable and has a secure parking lot. It looks like one of those apartments that the host originally intended to live in himself, so everything is top quality. The host is incredibly nice, readily available for communication and goes way out of her way to make your stay more comfortable. It does not get much better than this.
