This was her most memorable birthday, and a significant part of that was due to the ambiance of the place and the people who make it extraordinary every day. I liked the place, very good located in the quiet area of the Gili Air Island. Beautiful rooms with view to the pool asurrounded by tropical trees and plants. All the resort was very clean and we'll kept in a time when other hotels on the island were abandoned or neglected. The staff was very friendly, smiling and alert with any request we had. They allow us to use the bicycles of the resort for free, so even if we staid only one day, we had the opportunity to see and explore more.

We stayed here for 4 weeks, and couldn't be happier with our stay. The room was spacious, the bed was unusually comfortable for a hotel. The room was (as specified) outfitted with both a small fridge and water boiler, essential things when staying with a baby for an extended period. The two pool areas were sizable, shaded and highly enjoyable, for the entire family. The owners and staff are amazing, truly going the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable (we're very grateful for all your help). The breakfast offers a pretty wide variety of options. The establishment also offers bike rentals (the primary mode of transportation on Gili Air), which was very convenient. In short, the place is full service, and we had an amazing stay. It's also located on the north side, which is both close to some nice restaurants on the northeastern beach, and (especially if you're there during Ramadan, like us) fairly far from the mosque and prayer calls.

Staying at Melmay was a wonderfully intimate experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warmth and natural friendliness of the team. The breakfasts featured homemade bread, the pool was refreshing, and the bungalow was clean and comfortable, equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, hot water, a TV, and a fridge. With only four bungalows, Melmay offers a quiet and relaxing retreat. We look forward to returning and are thankful to the team for making our stay so special and memorable.

The staff was genuinly friendly and always happy to help. Cleaning done well. Breakfast from a menu brought to your own terrace. Effective AC. Comfy bed with big pillows, had the best sleep! Nice pool and sunbeds right infront of your room. Short walk to the harbor, main street and eastern beach. We rented bikes from the villa couple of times to ride around the island. The adhaan from mosque was not heard inside the villa. We ended up spending around 1,5 week here, loved it.

I found this accommodation casually browsing but I am so happy I did. This is a little gem in Gili Air. I loved everything from the welcoming with a fresh towel and iced tea as I got here very tired and hot was just what I needed. The staff is amazing super friendly and kind especially Halid that gave me a little insight of the island with places to eat/activities… The room is just super cute, very spacious , clean and just the vibe I was looking for. There is nothing not to like about this little beautiful gem.
