Most friendly hosts I have ever met. Anang (the host) speaks fluent dutch which was a pleasant surprise. He and his family are unbelievable kind and will treat you as family. I got the opportunity to go to their local school and even got to hand out some diplomas:) Hero is a really smart guy who showed me around for the two days I was there. He is super kind and really hard working. Thank you guys! Highly recommend going there!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Tony and his wife are the perfect hosts. They cooked a wonderful dinner & breakfast for us and they made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need, in an ideal location so close to the park. Tony also came with us for a 2h guided walk in the jungle to see the waterfalls. This was just perfect. We recommend Tony's place without any reservation !

A practical and good hotel with delicious food and great staff! Everything was very clean and the location is really close to the airport. The free shuttle service was a big plus. I recently stayed at Wave House in Gerupuk and had an amazing time thanks to the hospitality of the host, Russel. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and safe, and his staff was equally helpful in organizing a scooter for me and serving delicious breakfast. The accommodation was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a hot shower, which is not so common in Gerupuk. The wifi was also very stable and fast, which was important to me as I was working during my stay and had no problem connecting to the internet. I would highly recommend Wave House to anyone visiting Gerupuk and would definitely stay here again if I have the chance. Thank you, Russel, for making my stay at Wave House so enjoyable!

Looking for an idyllic, authentic Indonesian experience? This is the place for you.. the home stay comprised of two bedrooms ( on ground floor) and upper roofed dining/relaxation) terrace. We had our delicious home cooked meals ( dinner and breakfast) at the upper floor .. weather this time of the year is cool and refreshing in the mornings n nights … there’s no need for Aircon or fan! May I stressed that the food while simple( using lreadily available local ingredients such as soya bean( think bean curd, tempeh) , vegetables, corn, spices) is very delicious, it was really cool to know that the rice we ate is from owner’s rice field! We also spent lazy evenings at the porch enjoying the little garden of birds of paradise and rose and shrubbery. The entrance to the park with waterfalls is just a couple of minutes of walk away. There are eateries just after the entrance for afternoon bites.. on top of clean rooms, great location n food, we got a great host, who took time to chat with us. This is not a negative, at this price , one can’t demand much, I did suggest that it will be great to have option to pay for hot water for shower ..nonetheless, with or without the hot water , there’s a high chance I will return to this very lovely home stay

Surprise yourself - the setting is amazing. Look down the valley on a river. Lots of birdsong and bat song… apart from no wifi everything is superb… go the lux room…and a short trip to the airport.

The villa was beautiful and traditional style, and the outdoor bathroom felt very luxurious (not sure if all rooms have one so worth checking when you book if you want one). Location was handy for the airport, and the garden was a beautiful spot for a relaxing breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful, including helping me arrange a last-minute taxi from the airport despite it being later in the evening.
