The location is quite convenient. It's about 10 to 15 minutes from the village center (Generally you get off bus here). The guest house is part of a small village, so it's calm and you can escape from the noise of the main road. The owner is quite helpful. He can arrange a Jeep safari tour at a reasonable price. He said he couldn't arrange an elephant safari for foreigners, but he told me where I could buy a ticket. The ticket booth was walkable from the guest house, taking 15 to 20 minutes.

Excellent homestay. The 3 brothers Adi, Ritu and Madhu and their 2 small cousins did an outstanding job to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The home cooked breakfast was awesome making us want more. The rooms were clean and good value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our time in Habitas Rhino. The food is really tasty (I loved the local morela juice and pickles), the rooms comfortable, and it’s a great location - close to safari and to the Orchid park where you can watch really nice performances in the evening. The Nature trail is absolutely amazing! We went for both sunset and sunrise, for bird watching (thanks Aluwin!) and it was one of the biggest highlights of the entire trip to Assam and Meghalaya. So calm and picturesque! The staff is also great, very welcoming.

Camp setting . Mr Rintu hazarika is property manager . He is very helpful . He helped book jeep safari and elephant safari in very short time . His help was perhaps best part of stay .

Fantastic setting away from the main road but handy for the park safaris. Our host was so helpful in booking firstly and elephant safari followed by three gypsy safaris and we ended with a trip to the orchid gardens to see the cultural show. The property was exceptionally clean and the food was good. We used the transfer service from the airport which went well. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area. Excellent caring host

It was a good experience. The staff were very cooperative and friendly. It is good for camping experience but if you are looking for a comfortable stay , you should opt for more relevant hotels.
