Very clean, and large rooms. We were on a road trip to Tripura, and stayed there twice - while going and on our way back. Jowai is a good pit stop for taking the NH 6 sonapur highway. The property has ample parking space. Rooms are really clean and very spacious. Staff is very kind and friendly. They also sell homemade herbal medicines and also offer naturopathy therapies.

Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a Shillong souvenir, a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch to my visit. While some areas were undergoing improvements, it did not significantly impact the overall positive experience. It's a very clean, friendly homestay with beautiful decor, good facilities and a quiet location in a nice part of the town. The hosts, Bobby and Esther, are very kind and make sure you have what you need. And I was super happy to find a kettle and snacks provided in the room! Bobby was also kind enough to arrange a good English speaking driver to show me some of the beauty of Meghalaya.
