Lovely apartment 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Good shower. Dining area and lounge area also a roof top terrace with wooden tables and chairs to sit . All very nicely furnished and comfortable beds. Brilliant value for money.

Loved the way they have made the property, it has this very nice industrial design yet so cozy. Went with my parents and they absolutely loved staying in the Sea View room. Ostel had these really fun evening activities to participate in. We attended the Indo-african drumming circle and Bonfire event which was pretty cool. Planning my next trip already. It’s also quite close to most of the places in Auroville, so that was great.

The staff were exceptionally responsive -- from Anil who checked us in to Daia and Senthil and Karuna who served us dinner, and everyone else we encountered. The decor was minimalist, the rooms were spacious and bright, and the location was convenient for walking around. We had a couple of meals at the hotel, both of which were outstanding -- the moringa soup and the poached egg with bacon powder are must-haves.

On a small, unassuming street in the Heritage Town of Puducherry, the car stopped at what seemed to be a family home. A closer look and I saw two gorgeous, smooth, satin pillars, the red oxide of shiny floors that extended onto the 'thinnai' (outdoor seating area). This was Maison Perumal! We were welcomed into this traditional Chettiar home, with two beautiful courtyards, expansive rooms, stained glass on the walkways, a terrace area and lush greenery everywhere! Our two night stay was extremely comfortable, the food was deliciously authentic, the attention, service and hospitality, excellent. Special mention needs to be made - Elby, the manager/'go-to' for any questions /help, and Jayaprakash, who served us with a smile, all the time! Maison Perumal was a haven of serenity and calm from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Pondicherry. Five Stars to Maison Perumal. Lunch at the sister hotel Maison De Palais was disappointing to say the least, and avoidable. Our two night break in Pondicherry was memorable!

I love the property it’s exactly what you see online. Nice staff, the restaurants in the property are really good every dish I order was awesome. I also tried the Ayurveda(spa) in the premise is really good. Overall I loved everything about them.

We thoroughly liked the accommodation and the hosts too, the best part about the hotel was it has a separate space for the kitchen, and all the necessary crockery was available there including fridge, they provided plethora of towels and all the essentials for a good stay, we felt the room size was a bit small, apart from that everything definitely met our expectations, and at some places exceeded too. We thoroughly admired the warmth of our host(Fredrick) and the caretaker(Selvi) and leveraged their resourcefulness.

A very pleasant stay, coming from France, I love to come back during each visit to Pondichery. Ideally located close to the white city and the beach. The accommodations are spacious and very clean. The owners are always ready to help, and the entire staff is very nice looking forward to coming back in July.
