A place with style and a well filled library - much like the village of Flateyri it was super comfortable, interesting and the perfect place to stop.
The beds were great and together with a hot bath gave us a fab night's sleep. Well equipped kitchen, sitting room to relax in. Bliss!
But above all a friendly host who has really thought about what travellers need. Our best indoors place to stay in Iceland. Thank you!!

We stayed for one night at Holt Inn, mainly because accommodation options were limited at Isafjordur for our travel dates.
Breakfast spread was good. Clean room! Easy comms with the staff as we were late to arrive.

We love visiting Flateyri and the westfjords. We've stayed at Fishermans before when they opened up last year.
We did cut them some slack last year when they just opened...

Holt Inn is a magical place, so remote in the beautiful West Fjords with extraordinary views. The service was excellent. A true example of hospitality. The room comfortable and very clean. We loved our stay there and recommend it highly.

The property had an amazing unique design inside. It was warm and had a real coziness about it. The house had a wonderful selection of books displayed on creative bookshelf’s around the lounge, everything for everyone. Our room was beautifully designed and the bed was very comfortable. The roomy shower was superb and Stephanie our host was so friendly. We couldn’t ask for more on our 3 day stay.

This is a hidden gem in heart of Flateyri. We spent there a romantic New Years Eve and we were more than amazed by this beautful experience. It is a family run bookstore/accommodation business for decades with nicely preserved antique interior. Host gave us a quick tour in the building. Kitchen was full of kitchenware, spices, sweets and food for breakfast. Lots of books, boardgames, guitar to play and so on. This is one of 2 best places in Vestfirdir for a romantic stay.
