The accommodation was ideal, very warm, comfortable and was equipped with everything I needed to cook with, sleep, store my equipment, entertain myself and an ideal Base for my holiday. The first part of the accommodation is the entrance and has a sink, lots of shelving for storing my fell walking equipment and makes an ideal drying room for wet boots and gear. The living room has a lovely well equipped kitchenette, table, sofa, large TV with YouTube, Netflix, Disney channel, music channels and more. It was decorated lovely, spacious, very warm and very comfortable. Bathroom has toilet, sink, shower and equipped with all you needed, including Toiletries, towels, facecloths and toilet rolls. The bedroom had a double bed with very clean and warm bedding and I had great sleeps every night. All in all, it was perfect and I could not fault the accommodation.

The apartment is so tastefully designed, quiet, and comfortable. It has amazingly well equipped kitchen, separate classy & quiet bedroom, and spa like bathroom (with luxurious toiletries). All the details of the apartment show how diligent the owners are. Apartment location is super convenient, very close to the airport. Also, close to a couple of grocery stores where one can stock-up before the road trip. And petrol station and restaurants. Owners are super responsive and kind. They’ve even left some welcome goodies for us, which was well appreciated. Exceptional accommodation! Highly recommended.

It was a cozy place with a comfortable bed. We stayed there for one night for an early flight. It is close to the airport which we needed. The cabin actually has a lot of amenities, there is a fridge, microwave and other things that may be useful if you need to stay longer than one night.

It was amazing! This was the best accomodation we had during our stay on Iceland and we were more than happy to be there. To start from the beginning...At the time you enter this guestgouse you feel the smell of wood which can be seen all around you. People working there are very kind, rooms are very clean, beds comfortable, breakfast great... As we had to leave on our departure day before breakfast started they packed for us 4 sandwiches, juices and fruits for us! Thank you very much Lighthouse-Inn for a wonderful stay.

The friendliness and passion of the owners for the guests, property, and the surrounding town and natural setting. Also, in a place with very few options for dining out, the onsite restaurant and bar and service was truly outstanding. The rooms were basic but well appointed, and aside from the combined twin beds and the tightness of the shower area, the furnishings and accommodations were comfortable and tastefully selected. The entire building it appears was well planned out and built.

This place looks brand new, it is just gorgeous. I would have loved if during our 2 weeks in Iceland our accommodations were all like this one. We did not have an ocean view, but no matter, it was still a pretty view. GREAT choice. We stayed here before our flight the next day. Very convenient to the airport. They even made us an to go breakfast since we had to leave before breakfast was served!

Most atmospheric hotel we stayed in during our iceland vacation. Buitl out of wood it still has the nice smell of said wood. Comfy armchairs in the hallways and in the reception area. Didnt stay for breakfast since we had to check out at 4 am but got a lunchpacket for free instead. Has a (spanish) restaurant which had the best food we ate during our vacation in iceland. Cant judge location since we didnt get to walk around and scout the area. Would go here again if i´d come back to iceland and can definitly recommend without hesitation.
