Truly perfect. Location and view out of rooms are outstanding. The manager on check in was lovely as I had made a mistake on my booking, but he helped me to correct. The manager of the restaurant was wonderfully lovely, had a chat, helpful on the area and just perfect Also had the added bonus of northern lights that night which she told us had been sighted allowing us the time to leave and capture them

Perfect lay out for a family with two rooms downstairs both containing bunk beds and two singles upstairs! The hot tub was a huge bonus! This was one of our favourite stays during our 11 day ring road trip. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals including an oven instead of just a hob and the beds are all very comfy.

I absolutely loved the location! Saw the amazing northern lights the night a stayed at Maddis. It was everything I wanted, clean, comfortable, cozy and with a beautiful view! Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again.

A perfect place to see Northern lights :) We had a big luck and see it couple of times.Rooms are comfortable, big kitchen area and enough shared toilets and bathrooms. Views are amazing !

A very nice welcome from the young man at reception, who advised us to visit the canyon nearby (which we didn't know about so was a nice surprise). The rooms are a little basic but were really clean and warm. We were able to dry out all our gear on the radiators. Dinner was quite nice though nothing standout.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect for exploring the stunning south coast of Iceland, offering both comfort and convenience. The team members were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Breakfast was great, with a good selection to start the day right. A truly special moment was when the staff noticed it was my birthday and surprised us during dinner with a lemon meringue tart and a candle.
