I am so very happy with our stay at ChickenCoop. The position is amazing, like right out of an National Geographic Picture. It was so peaceful and relaxing, only thing I could hear was the little stream outside our house! House itself was beautifully arranged inside, very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very spacious! I was very pleased to find coffe, oil, tea and other things useful for cooking, as I completely forgot to buy oil 🙄 . Communication with owner was flawless! Directions for check in were very clear. If you are looking for a place were to stay while driving on the ring road, look no further, this place is perfect! ❤ Can't wait to come back soon!

The hotel's team is really great, very friendly and accommodating. I was driving late to the hotel and they kept a meal for me. The location is simply unbeatable, it's located right next to the falls. The breakfast was great and copious, with no waste.

Place is located in several minutes of walk to Skogafoss waterfall. The parking place aside the waterfall is dark enough to see northern lights. Also, the bistro is beside the parking, in 5 mins of walk, it is open until 9pm and also server hot breakfast morning. The guesthouse also has kitchen and enough place, but we were short in time so the breakfast in bistro was the best option for us. Place is calm, the sleep was good. Shared facilities are very clean, there are two WC with douche, we had no problem. The chek-in is very comfortable, you enter into the building, on right side you name and room number are indicated on white board.

A recently renovated apartment located in Skogar, Fosstún Guesthouse features a garden. This apartment provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi.

It was nice that the accommodation was very clean and quiet. The landlord also welcomed me kindly.

Excellent location at the end of the Fimmvorduhals hike, 5 minutes walk from the famous Skógafoss waterfall. Check-In was perfect - it is actually a self-check-in and self-check-out. We got a code for the room by email and that's it. We haven't met anyone from the staff (only at breakfast). Breakfast was perfect - all the usual popular food, whatever one needs.

The apartment is a gem. It's right next to the Skogafoss and you can plan the hikes around the waterfall while staying here. It had all kitchen utensils we needed to fry, heat food from the market. We were also able to see northern lights during our stay. The host gave clear instructions for self check-in
