In one word - everything! It is such a charming country house in the middle of nature, on the hill overlooking Florence. The whole property has a character and so much charm, like being in a movie-set. The owner, Silvia, designed everthing in the house and around it with soul and so much descrete beauty. Breakfast made with all the local made food products, her own freshly baked bread and foccacia, pastry… such a delight! Junior suite was so spacious and comfortable for the three of us and a dog… it was more than we expected. Bed and pillows are so comfy, and the linen… so gentle and nice. Everthing here speaks its own language.

It was authentically decorated, exceptionally clean, the bed was so comfortable and the location was fabulous. High ceilings, spacious and really worth a stay. Fiesole is quiet, ideal for couples and has lovely local restaurants. The bus journey into Florence is about 25mins but is dependent on traffic. We were happy not to be in the busy tourist area.

We loved everything, from the locality and quiet, to the views, the fantastic hosts who couldn’t do enough for us, and beautiful resident Sylvana who was a pleasure to make acquaintance. The views over Florence city are spectacular. The accommodation is very roomy, with the classic Tuscan building and feel. The property was beautiful! We was greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staff, they could not do enough for you. We were upgraded to a beautiful garden room, which was lovely as it was my birthday. We had reserved a table at the La Loggia restaurant and had the vegetarian tasting menu and it was absolutely incredible. We had in room breakfast the next morning with a view and spent time at the pool, which was very relaxing. We loved that the property was dog friendly, even though we didn’t take ours, it was lovely to cuddle other people’s.

Lovely proprietor who takes the time to get to know her guests and treated us like family. Spacious accommodations are filled with antiques and have a homey feel. Due to its location a couple of miles above Fiesole, a car is probably the best way to reach the location.

We chose Casa Torrini because it was only a 20 minute bus ride to downtown Florence, but quickly realized that the town of Fiesole has a rich history of its own. The accommodations were great and spacious. We would definitely consider this location again should we ever visit Florence again.

We stayed here at the end of our Via Degli Dei after hiking for several days. The staff were very friendly and helped us with finding a restaurant as well as with information regarding our onward journey. There are shops and restaurants very near by and we had the best breakfast selection of all the accommodations on the Degli Dei.

We stayed in a standard mobile home. Campsite location is excellent. The cafe/restaurant is also excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Swimming pool is a bonus and didn't get too busy even during the height of the Summer holiday season. Shuttle bus from the holiday park to the centre of Fiesole was a bonus as we didn't have our own means of transport.
