We had an absolutely perfect experience at Villa Brent in Grado, Italy! The location was ideal, surrounded by picturesque scenery and close to all the attractions. Brilliant location as described- on the main pedestrian walk into old town and opposite the sea. We could walk into town within 5 minutes. Angela and hotel staff were extremely helpful and pre booked our sun beds on the beach and arranged car parking near the hotel. Breakfast was a highlight!! So much beautiful food- cakes, pastries, cooked eggs, bacon, and meats and cheeses.

Staying at Hotel Castrum during our visit to Grado was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The room were extremely comfortable and well air-conditioned, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel itself is new and modern, with a very convenient elevator that added to the ease of our stay. Its location in the heart of the old town was ideal—everything we wanted to see was just a short walk away. At the same time, the hotel is tucked slightly off the main streets, so we were spared the noise and bustle, which made for peaceful evenings. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. A special thank you to the lovely Polish lady who showed us where to find a fantastic free beach and recommended a restaurant with the best Neapolitan pizza in town. Another staff member went out of her way to lend us her personal bottle opener when we needed one. These small but meaningful gestures made us feel so welcome and well cared for. We were also impressed with how the owners accommodated our need for secure parking, going out of their way to arrange it for us. The breakfasts were fantastic—everything was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the outdoor tables, savoring our meal under the open sky, surrounded by the charm of the Italian old town. As for Grado itself, the town is simply extraordinary—full of grace, elegance, character, and authentic charm. It’s a place that leaves a long lasting impression, and I truly hope to return one day. When I do, I will undoubtedly choose to stay at Hotel Castrum again. To the owners and staff, thank you so much for everything. I wish you all the best and hope the hotel continues to thrive and grow beautifully!

Accommodation on a family holiday was excellent. We were also accommodated with our dog. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. When we had a problem with the air conditioning, it was fixed the same day. The breakfasts at the hotel were also perfect! I can only recommend. Thank you!
