The guesthouse is close to the station and park. I was greeted by very nice staff, who showed me everything. The dorm room is spacious and clean, there is even a sink and some mirrors to get ready. Great location, with a nice view. Close to starbucks which was great for us haha. Nara Park was also close so wasn't too far to see some dear. The families were great, Staff were amazing and very friendly and explained to us the hotel facilities well. They also have chickens that you can pet.

Cannot say enough, this was by far my favourite stay of the holiday! On check in, we were very surprised to be given an upgrade to stay in a large Japanese-style bedroom. The host was so kind, he even came to tell us that a deer was right outside our window which was an incredible sight! Check-in and out was effortless and the location was great, right in the heart of Nara City and so close to Nara Park and Tennoji Temple. Fantastic, can’t wait to stay again on my next trip to Japan.

Nice and simple Japanese style accomodation. The futon was comparatively soft thanks to having two layers. Friendly staff and a small kitchen to make tea. Very nice for a short stay.

Very nice lodging. The accommodations were very nice, including a smoking area outside, a washer and dryer (including detailed instructions for English speakers), tourist guides for Nara and ther major cities, and a bin of phone chargers and extension cords. The beds were very comfy, the sofa was big and comfortable, and the TV was big and had a DVD player and a Super Famicom.

The Hotel is very stylish and modern. We rented the deluxe suite and it was tally worth it. The room was amazing and the views incredible. It's very well located as well, only 5min away from the Nara Park. The staff was also very friendly and even helped us get accommodations.

The accommodation is located above a restaurant, and it was wonderful having the entire place to myself! It reminds me of a retro Japanese home. Really comfortable place to stay in, and the host is a lovely and friendly person. She was very accommodating to my plans and even made breakfast and dinner for me for a small fee. Having a free washing machine to use was also super convenient!

This property is a gem! My family and I were visiting from San Diego and one of our stops was in Nara. Kyokosan made us feel at home with the breakfast, treats and hospitality she provided. It is also hard to find accommodations in Japan that are the size of western homes but this one is very spacious. I only wished we would have spent more time to be able to enjoy the home more.

We only stayed for one night which was too short. We loved the accomodation and would book again. Very central to everything, lots of food nearby and a short pleasant walk to the deer. Easy to leave your luggage before or after your stay.
