Stayed here twice. Yumiko and Suguru were both so kind and helpful throughout the stay – they were great hosts, always sharing snacks and night-time chats with me. I'm so thankful for their care and hospitality throughout my stay.
If you like interacting with locals, and finding out more about Japanese craft and culture, stay here! It's a beautiful, restful home.

The property was beautiful and thoughtful. The mid-century furniture and beautiful ceramics on display made the accommodation feel very peaceful and homely. The doors opened up onto a peaceful garden with a creek running through it. Will definitely return next time we are in Japan. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

It’s a quiet location, which is nice. First time in years that I have slept without earplugs. Good to know: you can not bathe at the guesthouse. I was a bit scared of using the Onsen at first, but ended up loving it. The hosts are such nice people. They made my stay even better, thank you so much.

Yumiko san was the best host one could ever have being in a new city. She was warm and very welcoming and helped me greatly during my stay. We had extremely interesting and warm-hearted conversations despite my lack of Japanese and her lack of English. I couldn’t ask for more. :)
