I arrived at Little Hostel much later than their check-in time as I had taken a 12 hour van to get there but the host, Amor, was very helpful and stayed up to let me in. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean as were the facilities. She sorted me a van to Chiang Rai the next day which picked me up right outside the hostel and gave me a snack for the journey which was very kind 😄 I would recommend this hostel to anyone

Rather basic accommodation, but clean and close to the Gibbon experience office. Can’t expect more for the price. We stayed there before and after the Gibbon experience which was convenient. We could do laundry and leave the our baggage.

Simple accommodations, but great host. She also knew everything about the gibbon experience and let us keep our luggage in her place and booked us matching bus tickets to cross the border to Thailand directly after our return from the trip. Best value for money.

All in all its a good place to stay. The owner is super friendly and helps you with everything you need to take the slowboat journey. That being said, Huay Xai is a city that has nothing much to offer. Lots of People stay there because the slowboat arrives/leaves from that place. Everything is overpriced everywhere. This guesthouse is no exception. Room was okay, not super clean but not moldy or anything. Bathroom same story. It was okay. Nothing special but that seems to be the case for all accommodation options here.

Lady on arrival was very helpful during check in. Also ran the currency exchange booth next door, all was very good service. Bathroom and accommodation basic but clean enough and ok for a short stay. Yes I would stay again.

We stayed in a Double Room with private bathroom which was clean and provided everything you need. Sustainable operation - cotton towels to dry hands, free drinking water to refill your bottle. Fair prices for accommodation, breakfast and transport services. Super friendly owner and staff. The owner even brought our postcards to the post office as it's been closed during our stay. Right next to Gibbon Experience office. Nice roof top terrace overlooking the Mekong. ATM opposite the hostel.

We booked this accommodation because we wanted to take it easy after crossing the Thai-Laos border. We ended up extending our stay with another day because it was a chill guesthouse nearby food stalls and with a really nice view if the river. The air condition was really nice and the room itself was spacious
