Unfortunately our stay coincided with the annual boat festival which is chaotic and incredibly noisy so it’s hard to review the place impartially as our stay was not comfortable or pleasant due to the noise. The hotel is in a good position on the waterfront and near lots of restaurants. The bedroom was a good size.

The accommodation is very well located near the mekong river, the tourist area, a lot of restaurants and the bridge for cross the river and go to visit the other island.
the staff is very kind and good advice. There are some water and coffee available free.
the room is equipped of mousquito net.
it is a good price for the quality

super nice basic homestay with a very nice family. we cooked dinner together :))
good place to stop when you’re heading south to Don Det from Pakse.

Nice place direct on the river. The owner is very friendly and helpful, it's clean. Very good for one person, also nice to stay longer. I could change the room to a new one with a better bed. I had no problems with the noises around me, but it's true the walls are not so thick.

Its cheap, clean, WiFi works nice. Its by the river. If you compare it with average accommodation on Don Det, its Hilton 5 stars. Also this island has paved roads!

The location of the home stay is amazing, an island right in the middle of the Mekong. Being able to stroll around the village of such friendly welcoming people. Seeing the peanut harvest and tasting the fresh peanuts. We enjoyed a stunning sunset.
Phonephet and his wife made us very welcome. He’s dedicated to providing the local children with free English lessons by offering accommodation to volunteer teachers.
The accommodation is rustic with a separate shared toilet block.
Food is traditional, local and fresh.
