A comfortable villa located in a quiet village away from the crowded tourist hotels. A gorgeous, secluded beach with soft sand and palm trees is just 50 meters away. This beautifully appointed villa features a huge, fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room. It also features two comfortable bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with fruit trees, seating areas, and a barbecue. The beautiful pool was specially cleaned at our request, for which we extend a special thanks to the villa owner. The villa is a 15-minute drive from Hikkaduwa's turtle beach. Keel's supermarket and an excellent seafood restaurant are a 5-minute drive away. I recommend this option for those seeking a secluded, comfortable getaway in the wild. I especially want to thank the villa owner for his responsiveness to all our requests.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is the perfect place! The atmosphere is incredibly quiet and serene, making it an ideal spot to unwind. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was evident in every corner. The view of the river was just great. One of the highlights of my stay was the food – absolutely delicious! Every meal was prepared with care, using fresh ingredients, and the flavors were simply amazing. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything exceeded expectations. What truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality of the owners. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, always ready to assist with anything you need. Their kindness and dedication to their guests create a home-away-from-home feeling that is rare to find. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Bay villas was the last stop on our three weeks holiday to relax before we leave this beautiful island and it didn't disappointe us. the manager and other stuff were very kind and they went out of thier way to make us feel at home. the breakfast and dinner was fantastic and of course the views toward the ocean... almost private beach and good size pool. The bedroom and lunch are large and nicely decorated. We rented a tuk tuk and visited other beaches, Galle is only 45 minutes away from this villa... The lady who does massage at the property also was great. totally recommended. Thanks everyone for making our four last days in Srilanka memorable. Zara and Bruce

Such a great location! A calm place at the lake. You can start boat safari straight vom the Resort. Food is delicious! Usually I eat outside the stay, but in Kalapuwa Ressort I went for breakfast and dinner every day. Authentic kitchen with very good quality. The staff was so nice and welcoming. It really felt like home.

This hotel is heavenly. It is right on the most perfect beach and surrounded by trees and the occasional wild life. The rooms are large, luxurious and have large private gardens. The staff are well trained with the aim of providing a perfect holiday experience. This was the last of six hotels that we stayed at across Sri Lanka and was by far the best. The chef produced exceptional dishes and reasonably priced. We felt very cared for at Sundara. Thank you.

Perfect 8 nights in the Bay Villas. - The best food we ate in Sri Lanka (a complete culinary experience). - The staff is super friendly! The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms, and high quality service. The Madu river scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to stay in such a quiet and peaceful environment. It is a really great location and a very loyal staff with adorable hospitality.
