Really lovely villa, very tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. One of the nicest we have stayed in along the trail. Super friendly and interesting host, who supplied us with lovely home cooked dinner and breakfast. Totally recommended for all.

Well, Hatton and Dickoya is not on everybody’s route when they travel to Srilanka. But it should. We stayed for 2 days in this awesome Homestay. Room was excellent with amazing view, and perfect sunrise from our balcony. Moreover the owners can propose you unique excursion ( half or full day) around the area with a tuk tuk. For us we had some of our nicest and most authentic moments in Srilanka. We swam in amazing waterfalls, alone, we hiked a lot, we explored the vast tea plantations without the touristic vibes you experience in Ella. If you want to meet authentic Srilanka, just stop at Princess of Dickoya.

Great accommodation and friendly hosts. We arrived 2 hours early, but this was not a problem. The accommodation was very neat and the shared area is spacious. Ideal laundry service for a low price. Dinner was delicious and more than enough.

Everything was the best! Perfect, nice and clean accommodation with wonderfull view to garden full of flowers and to nice landscape. You can eat and rest on the balcony. The breakfast and dinner were really delicious and big. Owners of homestay are nice, kind and polite people. If you have to decide where to stay, this is really the best place in Sri Lanka.

We had a phantastic time in Dickoya thanks to Saman and his wife. They were extremely kind and helpful! Breakfast and dinner were extraordinary. The accommodation is located beautifully very close to the tea plantages so that you can take a nice walk from there through the hills to the Castlereigh Reservoir. We highly recommend staying at Samans place!

The host was super friendly and kind. We had an amazing stay at the KPL Holiday Home and would recommend it for everyone on there way to or back from the Adam’s Peak or in between the train ride. We could leave our big bag packs for the day we went to the Adam’s peak without charging.

The accommodation was beter than we could wish for. We are backpackers, on a budget, we stayed here to go the next day to Adam’s peak. We took the big room with the mezzanine and it was just what we needed! The host was very friendly, they even arrange free transportation to the hotel if needed. The staff were very friendly, even tho we are not the easiest to please. The room was a bit cold, but on demand you can receive a heater. And above all that, the room was not overpriced!

We had a fantastic stay at the Tea Hills Bungalow. Beautiful accommodation and great view on the tea plantations, just outside the center of Hatton. Even though it was low season they prepared an amazing BBQ for us in their special patio in the garden. Very kind staff as well.

The owner is very very kind and friendly person. He willingly allowed to extend more 2 days to stay here. A room was clean and easy to use. A main space that is used for who stay here is also good. Everyone can drink water and hot water, tea and coffee freely and it’s flee. Fridge is over there as well and it’s available to use for to stock for purchased items. I think this accommodation is very clean and comfortable place. Highly recommended.
