Everything was perfect. We had a spacious and cozy room with a modern bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and very extensive. Moreover, the staff was so great. We felt super welcome there and they took great care of us. We stayed 4 nights and we were the only ones most of the time, which is why we got a better room for a cheaper price. The city centre is a 20min walk away while there are also other restaurants and a supermarket only 10min walk away. We would recommend this accommodation to everyone.

The most beautiful and hospitable hotel ived visited globally , food excellent, staff superb , rooms clean . Food again I cannot rate highly enough. This hotel screams old English etiquette with a modern touch . Really one of the best hotels and I highly recommend. If we could rate Cabin 7000ft higher than 10/10, we absolutely would! This place is an experience in itself. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, and the level of care and service was outstanding. The location is simply breathtaking. Perched above Sri Lanka’s highest village, the views stretch endlessly over rolling farmland, where highland vegetables grow in neat rows, and behind the cabin lies a dense forest, home to local wildlife. Watching the landscape change with the light was magical. The cabin itself is a dream—spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and instantly inviting. You arrive, take a deep breath, and feel at home. Everything is well-maintained, and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into every detail. What really stood out was the hospitality. Not only were we looked after with great care, but even our guide/driver was well accommodated. The owner was always there with a smile, ready to help, even suggesting a beautiful hiking route and making sure we were set up for a great walk. A personal highlight: my partner’s birthday fell during our stay, and to our surprise, she was gifted a beautiful birthday cake—a gesture that truly made the day extra special. We also dined at the cabin, and it was one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka. The owner and his wife clearly have a passion for good food, and it was a pleasure to taste it. Communication was seamless from the start, with quick and easy WhatsApp contact, making everything effortless. Cabin 7000ft is more than just a stay—it’s a special place that lingers in your memory long after you leave. Highly, highly recommended!

My stay here was really great, the owner organized everything for me for a reasonable price. I did one day a full village and surrounding tour with Rajan and one day Horton Plains. Everything went super smooth and I enjoyed the hospitality of Paramesh. Thanks for everything!
