We were lucky to get an authentic insight into the real Sri Lanka and the local culture. Our host Prashan was incredibly warm and welcoming – we can highly recommend this accommodation! The accommodation: The room was clean, well-furnished, and equipped with a fan and mosquito net. The small private pool was a real highlight – and all of this at a very fair price. The food: The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. There was a huge variety, and always more than enough. The host: Prashan speaks perfect English, which made communication very easy. He is extremely friendly, helpful, and always there to support with advice and assistance. He really caters to the wishes and needs of his guests, and shares fascinating insights into nature, culture, and everyday life in Sri Lanka. His hospitality is truly impressive. The activities: We went on a TukTuk tour together and visited a breathtaking waterfall, went on a beautiful mountain hike with spectacular views, explored a riverbed, and watched giant bats in the evening. It was a one-of-a-kind experience that we’ll never forget! We felt safe and well taken care of at all times, as Prashan accompanied us throughout and made us feel completely at ease.

Despite a bit small, the room is well equiped with air-con, TV, hot water shower. The hotel is affiliated with a bigger hotel therefore breakfast (which is the best buffet breakfast i had in sri lanka) was at the other hotel with a free tuk tuk or short walk via beautiful village. Elephant viewing even swimming pool is also available at the other hotel. The contact person Andrew is such a nice gentleman that he arranged everything perfectly. The host family is also very friendly that they tried their best to entertain my 3-year old son and he really likes them.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Green Agras Leisure and would highly recommend it. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful – with breathtaking views, a stunning pool, and impressive architecture. The food was always freshly prepared and offered a wide variety of dishes. The entire service team was extremely friendly, warm, and fun. After just a few days, it felt very personal, as if we were among friends. We also joined a cooking class, which was a fantastic experience with delicious food and very kind instructors. In addition, I enjoyed a massage, which was excellent as well. All in all, this place is highly recommendable, and we would definitely love to come back!

Easily the best place we have stayed during our time in Sri Lanka . From the moment we arrived , everything was absolutely perfect . The Villa is set in an idyllic location surrounded by incredible scenery and the rooms are incredibly well appointed and spotlessly clean. The Pool area is immaculate and is a setting like no other . The location is also ideal if you’re heading to Pinawala Elephant orphanage as it’s just 5 min away by tuk-tuk. Additionally , the food here is some of yhr best we’ve had, served professionally and with care and every meal was delicious . We already can’t wait to return next year! .
