If I could, I would rate this place, Thami and Habiba (the hosts) 20 stars out of 10.
We have been well received all through Morroco, but our stay here was more than perfect. Thami is the perfect gentleman, and his wife made us the best food we ever had.

This cave accommodation was beautifully decorated and surprisingly comfy! Thami has an artistic eye and it definitely shows when entering the property. The hospitality from Thami and his wife was amazing and they really made us feel welcomed into the home. The cooking was plentiful and tasty, every meal we were being spoiled. This is a real hidden gem of Morocco and a great authentic experience. Thanks Thami!!

This is an ideal location if you do not want to stay in Fes. It is a quiet, hilltop town about 20 mins to the south. Kamal was away, but kept in close contact with us to make sure we could find the property. His wife, Jalila is a perfect host and an excellent cook - the 4 course meal was delicious and really worth having. We even wanted a recipe from her. Breakfast can be had on the terrace from where you look over the town and see Fes in the distance. A delightful stay.

What a wonderful place to stay! Kamal and Jalila are truly amazing and made us feel very welcome. Kamal is a fount of local knowledge and very personable and passionate about his local community. He gave us excellent walking suggestions and the most interesting of guided tours!
Jalila cooked absolutely delicious food - generous feasts each day. The room was beautiful in itself: comfortable and artistic.
This was the highlight of our holiday.

Beautiful cave house with amazing decoration- could look at all the rugs and ceramics and paintings forever! The hosts were really friendly and helpful, I don’t speak French but still they managed to communicate with me. It had a really nice communal feeling, as another family was staying and we had a delicious dinner and breakfast together and played cards! Highly recommend :)

Dar el Mandar was our favourite stay in Morocco. I wish we had stayed here longer. The whole experience was incredible: the friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you, the beautiful architecture and grounds, the stunning view, the deliciously fresh food. Although the staff spoke mainly French, there was no issue and they were eager to work things out. We truly loved our stay here and would come back just for this location. Thank you to the whole team.

What a unique experience, truly local! Unfortunately we spoke very lityle French, Thami did his very best to explain to us. He collected us from town and walked us to our accommodation. Decor is beautifully eclectic. The blankets he provided were a lifesaver, it got quite cool in the evening. An unforgettable stay!

Wow, staying in a grotto! This was very different to all the other accommodation we had during our travels, a great experience! The grotto is beautifully decorated in traditional style with a lot of attention to detail. It has 3 bedrooms, a portable heater, comfortable beds with lots of blankets, internet, hot water. The owner is very friendly. We went for a walk in the village which was also interesting and people were friendly.
