The place was lovely and clean. Very big and suitable for our group. Communication was great and we enjoyed our stay. It was lovely to have the fire and the radiators kept everything toasty.

A luxury stay experience at the edge of the breathtakingly beautiful New Zealand Fiordland. The Lodge sits in a stunning rural setting, with sweeping views across beautiful Lake Manapouri to the snow-capped peaks beyond. Our hosts Breidi and Brad made us feel very welcome and at home. Gourmet dinner and breakfast included in the stay were outstanding, and upon request our hosts arranged a delicious picnic for us to take on our day cruise to Doubtful Sound. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and many thoughtful details enhanced our stay. Highlights for us included an afternoon relaxing in the Library in front of a crackling fire, and chatting to other Lodge guests in the lounge over pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

We loved our stay at Manapouri. It's right on the lake which is beautiful with a stunning view of the mountains. It's in a great location for easy access to Milford Sounds. The room was super cozy and comfortable and was decent sized as well. The communal showers, kitchen, and laundry were all clean and in great shape. The staff were super friendly and helpful for anything we needed. We would definitely recommend a stay here.
