Beautiful place to stay in a gorgeous location. Accomodation is basic as you'd expect in the remote location but we got a lovely private hut for a reasonable price. The hot springs under the stars are amazing.

After the first day of hiking a great place to stay and relax. You can have a refreshing swim in the Canyon river and afterwards warm up in the nice pools.
We had a nice sandwich lunch at the Llahuar Lodge and a refreshing lemonade when we arrived. For dinner you can choose between multiple options e.g. Veggie or meat. Also breakfast they serve (pancakes) and you can order a lunchpackage for on the road.

The llahuar lodge is one of the best hostel lodges I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a long hike to get there but it’s so worth it for the tranquil and natural hot springs at the base of the canyon. The food provided at the restaurant is tasty and reasonable. The family running the place is incredibly warm and kind, the best Peru has to offer. Try to take a dip after dark to enjoy the Andean night sky, shooting stars, and the Milky Way above.

One of the best accommodations we stayed in since we started our worldtrip 9 months ago! Nice and cozy private rooms with private bathroom, really good kitchen and very nice breakfast with homemade bread. Also a lot of vegan options! Loved everything

The best thing about this homestay is the great detailed information they provide for your individual trekk. They speak English, you get a map and they can organise taxis, the next accommodation etc for you. Great service!
The pizza is also quite good! And great homemade bread!

The staff, Leandro and his girlfriend were very helpfull and friendly. We had a nice sleep before our trekking. They helped us plan the trekking. Also we could store our backpacks and for a small amount take a shower when we returned from a very sweaty hike. Great showers! And we met other travellers staying in other accommodations coming to this place. Just because it is so nice.

The location is just breathtaking and definitely worth the walk from Cabanaconde. Roberto is very friendly and helpful, and speaks English, which comes in handy.
Another plus are of course the hot springs and the nice food.
Finally, the fact that all lodges in the Colca canyon accommodate the free roaming guide dogs is just the icing on the cake.
Considering the secluded location and comparing it to other accommodations in Peru, the comfort and hygiene were astonishing.

After a great hike our reward was this nice accommodation! It has a fabulous look over the river and the hot springs were great! Lunch, dinner and breakfast were also very good! You can buy drinks for a very good price! So when hiking to Llhuar, stay here!

Great accommodation with a very nice garden. The rooms were clean, comfy and had a nice warm shower! Also the host is very friendly and prepared a very nice breakfast. He arranged a taxi for us (and 2 other people staying in the hostel) to the condor viewpoint. It was also possible to leave our backpacks for 2 nights when we were hiking in the colca canyon. And we could take a shower after pickup or bags and before leaving cabanaconde! So highly recommend this hostel when staying in cabanaconde!
