The airport transfer, even at 3 am, was smooth. Despite the late arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a snack waiting for us, which was so thoughtful considering the late hour – a lovely touch. The next day, the hotel staff kindly offered us a different room when they noticed the initial one wasn't quite to our liking – a lovely gesture that really showed their attentiveness. We were also very happy with the excellent internet signal throughout our stay. It was a nice touch to have our water replenished daily in the room, along with some biscuits. The hotel itself was generally very peaceful and quiet, providing a truly relaxing atmosphere. We did notice that the hotel seemed to be quite empty during our visit. However, what truly stood out was the incredible attention, friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff. A special mention must go to Anita, the manager, who was exceptional, as well as Cecília, the supervisor, and the ever-cheerful Issa and Leonard, who were always so kind and attentive during our meals. We also had a wonderful interaction with Ismail, a gardener, who went above and beyond by climbing a coconut tree to get us fresh coconut water one afternoon – such a treat! On a particularly rainy day, the lovely manager Anita did everything she could to make the situation more enjoyable for us. We also really appreciated Leonard, the waiter, who took the initiative to note down our breakfast preferences and share them with his colleagues for the days he wasn't working, so we didn't have to repeat ourselves. The proximity of the beach and the pool was fantastic. And the massage I received from Janeth? Honestly, it was the best I've ever had. And believe me, I've had massages in Bali and Thailand, so that's saying something!

This is perhaps the very best place to unwind on Zanzibar. If you are seeking long, swimmable white beaches, far from the madding crowd… this is THE best place to be and completely worth a visit. An hour from the airport, the staff are amazing, the facilities an absolute delight and the food substantial. It’s super quiet, so wonderful for reading or writing. Thank you team Manolo - our stay (my 11 year old son and I) of five nights was utter bliss and we would do it again in a heartbeat. 💓 5 ⭐️

The property is managed by exceptional staff who make you feel at home in an instance. Every one was very accommodating especially the chefs who tailor made our meals. Joseph and team!! Exceptional chefs. The staff Esther, Dainess, Patrick and the entire crew went out of their way to support us in organizing our dream wedding which is something we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Amazing, magical place with the most heart-warming staff you will ever meet. Clean and romantic room, exceptional food and the best saturday night party in Zanzibar! This is the place to relax and enjoy peaceful, romantic holiday. Prices were reasonable and the hotel took care of our transportation and blue safari etc. Would definately recommend. The beach was absolutely beautiful and the massage we got was the best we have ever experienced.
