We had THE most wonderful time at Mekong Pottery Homestay – what a hidden gem to find. Yennie and her beautiful family went above and beyond in the preparation leading up to our stay and during our actual stay. She organised transfers for us from HCMC and was incredibly thorough—every question answered, every detail considered, she thought of everything. You can see how much care has been taken in designing and building the accommodation, which reflects the beautiful terracotta made in Vinh Long. The food her mom cooked was out of this world and one of the best we’ve had in Vietnam so far. The river tour with Henry was another highlight—well-paced, informative, and a great way to experience the local area. Every part of the stay had thoughtful, individual touches that made it feel extra special. Staying at Yennie’s homestay, surrounded by such natural beauty and warmth, was the highlight of our time in Vietnam. We can’t wait to return again one day.

It is definitely one of the loveliest places I have stayed at in my life. It is a real homestay where you stay with the family in their house. The owner Oanh is a truly kind and sweet person, and together with her sweet mom they make you feel very welcome. The dinner Oanh cooked for us was outstanding, with the fish being very fresh and delicious. They also offer bicycles for free to stroll on the beautiful rural An Binh island. Highly recommend. Wonderful place by the river! Nice clean pool and very quiet. So nice to eat by the river and watch the sunset. The lady in charge is very very helpful and speaks English. She shipped an item that we forgot to Saigon for us to receive there. Food is excellent and prices reasonable. You can walk or bike around in the nice neighborhouds by the canals and they can organize tours. Recommended!
