The staff was the nicest and most attentive I have yet experienced. They carried our luggage all the way up to the hotel because there were only steps, no ramps. They also parked our car because the parking situation is a bit difficult there. The receptionist gave us inspiration on what to do in the city and also recommended the free walking tour to us, which was great. The room was very pretty and smelled really nice the first time we entered, and it was cleaned every day. Breakfast was amazing, they prepared it freshly for us and served it to the table. The fried eggs were spot on. It was also nice to sit on the terrace while having good coffee. The way to the city center was a bit of a climb but with the shortcut the staff showed us it was manageable.

Location - perfect, couple of minutes walking to the old bazar . Breakfast - done with love, fresh and contains everything the body needs . The owner edmond - a very kind and caring guy that gives his guest the best experience, its hard to describe by words, the experience itself tells everything . Breakfasts were amazing, all fresh, tasty ( local food) and served by friendly ladies.

Hotel Gjirokastër is located 300 metres from the centre, in a part of town famous for numerous museums. The hotel is surrounded by green gardens and large parks, while the building itself is made of traditional stone and wood. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. The owner and family were amazingly helpful, and hospitable. They were very eager to help and ensure that all.of our needs were met at all times. Breakfast was phenomenal. Location is OPTIMAL!

The stay exceeded my expectations - it was very well run in regards to service, cleanliness, and overall comfort. We booked a room with a view of the castle, and we were able to enjoy it on the wrap around balcony. It had a table and two comfortable chairs. Inside the room, you had everything you could want. There was enough space to have two suitcases laid out, and enough table/counter space for things. The WIFI was very fast and reliable. The bathroom area was very clean and big. Breakfast was included, and we were greeted by a couple who prepared it. Parking was included!

All guest rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a coffee machine. Truly one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Suites were absolutely stunning, every detail thought through (the proprietor is an architect and you can see her design choices everywhere). The beds are ridiculously comfortable. Great toiletries, bottled water, espresso maker in the rooms. Location is amazing for walking through the bazaar or to local museums and historic houses and to the castle. Breakfast was included (and yummy!) at the cafe downstairs. Amazing value, couldn’t recommend more highly.
