We had such a lovely stay at Jeff’s place! The view was beautiful, the location peaceful yet convenient. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfortable – we slept like babies. Jeff is a wonderful host – warm, welcoming, and with a great sense of humor that made the whole experience feel cozy and fun. Breakfast was generous and delicious. We accidentally overslept and were a bit late to check out, but Jeff was incredibly kind and encouraged us to enjoy our breakfast without any rush. Thank you so much – we truly appreciated the hospitality!

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a dream. The setting is unreal: a crystal-clear alpine lake nestled among towering green mountains, with summer sunshine sparkling on the water and wildflowers blooming everywhere. The view from my room — especially from the balcony — was absolutely breathtaking. I often just sat there in silence, taking it all in. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm. It felt cozy and welcoming, but still elegant. Traveling alone can sometimes feel awkward, but here I felt completely at ease. The staff were genuinely kind — always helpful, never intrusive — and made me feel like more than just a guest. Every morning started with a peaceful breakfast overlooking the lake, and every evening ended with a sunset that looked like something from a painting. I spent my days swimming, walking along the shore, hiking nearby trails, and simply enjoying the stillness. This place gave me exactly what I needed: space to breathe, think, and just be. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you — the kind that changes you a little. If you're considering a solo trip and need beauty, serenity, and a true escape — look no further. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Die Unterkunft Scalaria Sunset Wing begrüßt Sie mit einem Innenpool und einer 24-Stunden-Rezeption in St. Wolfgang. Das Panorama unübertrefflich, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Reichweite. Privater Strand + Wellnessbereich + Infinity pool + viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten. Das Früschtück war grossartig. Teuer, aber gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das Seehaus Familie Leifer erwartet Sie in Sankt Wolfgang, nur wenige Schritte vom Wolfgangsee entfernt. Sie profitieren hier von einem Badeplatz und kostenfreien Privatparkplätzen. very nice room, great location

Am Anfang der Fußgängerzone von Sankt Wolfgang begrüßt Sie dieses seit 3 Generationen familiengeführte Hotel direkt am Ufer des Wolfgangsees. Amazing peaceful location while being in the centre of St Wolfgang. View was spectacular and whole atmosphere of Hotel Peter so welcoming - a home away from home. Interiors are traditional which added to the charm (don't expect the most modern features in the room - eg an electric fan instead of Aircon, clean and functional bathroom but not the most modern). Staff were so helpful including when we missed check-in due to a train delay - all was seamless. Restaurant food was great (traditional again!) including breakfast (so much choice to eat!)

Die in der Region Oberösterreich in Gosau gelegene Unterkunft SEIN Boutique Suites - ADULTS ONLY bietet kostenloses WLAN und einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz sowie Zugang zu einer Sauna. Room was incredible, very upscale, clean & comfortable with sauna in the suite. Manager/owner was very helpful and responsive. Even offered free massage table. The views were incredible as well, very relaxing stay. Looking forward to a return! :-)

This was one of the best hotels we ever stayed in and we'll definitely come back whenever we travel back to Austria.
