The setting is unreal: a crystal-clear alpine lake nestled among towering green mountains, with summer sunshine sparkling on the water and wildflowers blooming everywhere. The view from my room — especially from the balcony — was absolutely breathtaking. I often just sat there in silence, taking it all in. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm. It felt cozy and welcoming, but still elegant. Traveling alone can sometimes feel awkward, but here I felt completely at ease. The staff were genuinely kind — always helpful, never intrusive — and made me feel like more than just a guest. Every morning started with a peaceful breakfast overlooking the lake, and every evening ended with a sunset that looked like something from a painting. I spent my days swimming, walking along the shore, hiking nearby trails, and simply enjoying the stillness. This place gave me exactly what I needed: space to breathe, think, and just be. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you — the kind that changes you a little. If you're considering a solo trip and need beauty, serenity, and a true escape — look no further. It was an awesome place to stay. The bed was comfy. The linen was lovely. They had thought of EVERYTHING!

Hotel Peter offers comfortable and quiet rooms with balcony and terrace, affording wonderful, direct views of the lake and the mountains. Amazing peaceful location while being in the centre of St Wolfgang. View was spectacular and whole atmosphere of Hotel Peter so welcoming - a home away from home. Interiors are traditional which added to the charm (don't expect the most modern features in the room - eg an electric fan instead of Aircon, clean and functional bathroom but not the most modern). Staff were so helpful including when we missed check-in due to a train delay - all was seamless. Restaurant food was great (traditional again!) including breakfast (so much choice to eat!)

Room was incredible, very upscale, clean & comfortable with sauna in the suite. Manager/owner was very helpful and responsive. Even offered free massage table. The views were incredible as well, very relaxing stay. Looking forward to a return! :-)
