GermanyDidn't even have to hesitate to give 10/10 for this stay. Accommodation is very well equipped, the layout of the rooms is great, bathroom facilities were absolutely clean, breakfast delicious. We especially liked that everything was already there in the room and we were able to set the table for ourselves in the comfort of our room. Was a delight to meet the hosts and would like to thank here again for the good travel tips. Oh and it was great to come back home and be greeted by two adorable dogs!

Everything. Opening the door you step into a beautifully appointed home. Everything you need and want in a holiday stay. Personal touches everywhere. The warmth and love in the home is palpable. From the luxurious bedrooms to comfortable lounge areas and opulent bathrooms this home is amazing. The details in every room made it feel like a home not a rental. Recommend this stay to anyone who appreciates historic homes, total comfort and attention to detail.

Upon arriving when went to our motel room and walked straight out to get an upgrade as the room was too small for more than a one night stay. The staff were great and had no problem upgrading us to a 2 bedroom apartment. It had all the items necessary to have a self catering holiday. Very close to shopping centre and on the right side of the city for the airport. Off street parking was great.

I organised a special night for my wife as it was our Wedding Anniversary. We are originally from Tassie and wanted to start our holiday from Launceston. We haven't returned to Tasmania for many years.
Thank you to all the staff for putting us into a beautiful room. Your beautiful card and my wife's favourite wine awaiting for our arrival. You all are extremely special people.

This is my top pick for accommodation so far this year. I stayed at Sylvester's in March, and I was delighted by the facilities and all the touches that were included, and the owners were welcoming. The owners had a list of local eateries and a small snack basket in the kitchen. I was invited to pick apples from the tree in the front yard and ripe tomatoes, and they were delicious; such a treat. There was fresh milk in the fridge and fresh flowers in the bathroom. The bath towels were plush, and the bed was comfortable.

Honestly wonderful accommodation!
Travelled as a family, so 2bedroom house was perfect.
Hosts were super helpful & supplied all necessities needed for a great stay (breakfast pack was amazing).
Lovely art deco house, so comfy & warm.
Bed was like sleeping on a cloud.
Highly recommend this accommodation for all travelling to Launceston!

Very friendly Boss/Host. We arrive late but managed to meet the Boss/Host. He helped to carry the luggage up the stairs & provide details on the accomodation although it's late for him to return. Very appreciative on this & the staff who tidied our room during the stay. Will highly recommend this accomodation to anyone going to Launceston. This location is very near the Cataract Gorge Basin as well. There is a nice garden to walk around during the evening.
