They were very accommodating and allowed me to check-out around 1pm, because I had gone on a private tour in the morning.

You're right across the street from the cable car and in one of the safest and most walkable parts of La Paz. The hotel is new and very nice with a decent breakfast offering. Like everywhere in La Paz, there's interminable honking outside during commuting hours but it eventually blends into the background - like crickets in the forest. On a higher floor the noise is minimal due to modern windows with decent insulation. The staff are great and very friendly. No surprise last minute changes or hidden fees. I think this hotel will establish itself as a traveler favorite in La Paz very quickly. Other quick highlights: * Wifi is fast and reliable * Views are great, especially from the breakfast room * Good pharmacy located in the same building * Early check-in was affordable and easy to arrange * Great lavanderia on the same block * 24 hr check-in and security * The room cleaners are fastidious, I don't think I've ever seen a hotel room cleaned this well outside of Japan.

It's an historical Spanish hacienda from the 19th century, very well managed and maintained by Don Mario and his lovely family. The rooms are spacious, heated and clean. The view to the lake or patio are magnificent, very calm and quiet as it is a 10 minute walk from the town center. Highly recommended!

The apartment is big and clean, equipped with lovely furniture as well as hi-tech electrical appliances. You can communicate with the host in English, and he is super responsive and always trying to help you. The host provided some useful information and also helped us book taxis from and to the airport.

The views were great, the breakfast was really nice and the quaint decoration of the room was beautiful. It was the nicest place we stayed in all of South America the last three months. The staff were very friendly especially Kevin, who gave us lots of information. Will definitely recommend to our friends and will be back.

Providing mountain views, Ecolodge K'arasirca in Comunidad Yumani provides accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. The location of K'arasirca is fantastic with amazing views over to the Andes and Isla de la Luna. The cottages are new and of good size. There is a gas heater in the room. The shower with hot water is good too. The breakfast was varied and delicious. U can have dinner at the lodge too. To go to other places for dinner u need to walk for 15 minutes and it will not b easy at night. There r no cooking facilities in the cabins. We asked for a hot water flask and cups and made our own tea. They brought us hot water bottles at night. Nothing is too much for them! They also were very helpful in showing us the start of the 6 hour hike around the island. I can highly recommend K'arasirca Ecolodge and would return there again. Doris Blum, New Zealand
