Located in Comunidad Challapampa, Hostal Cultural Bertha Challapampa Isla del Sol parte Norte features a recently renovated accommodation 2.4 km from Chinkana and Mama Ojjlla. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. I love the staff who run it, they’re all kind and welcoming. They were very accommodating and allowed me to check-out around 1pm, because I had gone on a private tour in the morning.

Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. The location of K'arasirca is fantastic with amazing views over to the Andes and Isla de la Luna. The cottages are new and of good size. There is a gas heater in the room. The shower with hot water is good too. The breakfast was varied and delicious. U can have dinner at the lodge too. To go to other places for dinner u need to walk for 15 minutes and it will not b easy at night. There r no cooking facilities in the cabins. We asked for a hot water flask and cups and made our own tea. They brought us hot water bottles at night. Nothing is too much for them! They also were very helpful in showing us the start of the 6 hour hike around the island. I can highly recommend K'arasirca Ecolodge and would return there again. Doris Blum, New Zealand

Make sure to get up for sunrise. The hosts are amazing and friendly. The beds are huge and super comfy. I could only get warm-ish water, but it was fine for me after hiking all day. The breakfast was delicious! Amazing bread, freshly squeezed juice and eggs. The dinner was also delicious, get the trout, you will not be disappointed. The wifi is really good. Definitely recommend. Would absolutely come back again.

It was on the top of the ridge, and the large bedroom windows gave me a full view of the lake. It was an easy walk to the restaurants and hiking trail. The owners were friendly and answered all of my questions. I have never slept better at night die to the lack of surrounding noise and lack of cars on the island.

The boats that leave Copacabana to the island of the sun, leave at 8.00am and at 01.30pm The host was very attentive and available when we needed but mostly allowed us our space. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Bolivia and accommodated our dietary requirements - she checked with us beforehand what would be suitable. Beds were comfortable and shower warm. View was incredible and such a special spot in the world. About halfway between the Pilkokaina port and Yumani port. Wifi available but in and out, but surprised there's even WiFi at all. Would recommend to anyone staying on Isla del Sol. Heater in room was perfect during breakfast but beds are warm enough that the temp wasn't an issue during the night.

At the inn, all rooms are fitted with a desk and a patio with a mountain view. The room was very comfy, rustic and nicely decorated! It is cold, but that is normal in this period. Really enjoyed the hot water shower too! Breakfast was nice but would have liked something salty too, maybe salty pancake ☺️ the views are the best!

First of all the location is amazing, with a lake view and snow mountains visible from your bed. The owners are super friendly and will help you with everything you might need. The room is spacious and comfortable and has a hot shower and a huge bed. A good breakfast is included and you can order dinner as well as a nice hot cup of tea. Highly recommended!
