Can’t ask for a better location. We brought our mid-sized doggy, and the staff were so receptive and so amazing welcoming Him. The room was stocked with a mid sized dog bed, two food bowls and treats for him. We were there for my birthday and the resort team made us feel very at home. The hotel lobby stocks extra cream sugar and coffee for mornings as well as extra doggy treats. I’d highly recommend staying here if you want to bring your whole family, furry friends included, as the staff makes everyone feel welcome. Many guests had small to large dogs and everyone was accommodating. The hot tub and plunge pool had incredible views and so close to many restaurants. Also recommend Howlers so dinner, great food and atmosphere.

Featuring historic décor, this adult-only Victoria accommodation was originally built in 1930. A gourmet breakfast is served each morning. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. The Victoria Clipper is 2 km away. Really lovely hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Enjoyed spending a little time with a drink and a book in the reading room before heading out for the evening. Friendly and accommodating staff members.

Modern 2BR Guest House in North Nanaimo is a recently renovated holiday home in Nanaimo, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The property features mountain and quiet street views, and is 6.5 km from Nanaimo Bastion. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Very friendly hosts that cared a lot about us - we even enjoyed a huge bowl of veggies from the garden and felt so welcomed and comfortable. The accommodation offered everything we needed, we had a lot of space, the location was nice and quiet - we had a wonderful time there. We had a lot of fun because all the machines are singing a melody created by an Austrian composer ;)

Set 6.9 km from Royal Roads University, Separate entry sweet home offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Housed in a building dating from 2007, this holiday home is 15 km from Victoria Harbour Ferry and 15 km from Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. The property is non-smoking and is situated 12 km from Camosun College. Julia the host was very friendly, she even called and messaged us when she discovered a bag that we had left behind after checking out. Julia had thought of most things one could need. The accommodation consisted of bedroom, lounge/diner and bathroom. Everything was very clean, coffee/tea making facilities, cups etc in lounge. Large TV in lounge, large desk at end of bed. Bed lovely and comfortable. Welcome pastries and milk were found in the fridge. Welcome messages and card signed by all the family found in the lounge. Thank you Julia and family for making us feel most welcome.

Located within 6.2 km of Nanaimo Bastion and 6.4 km of Newcastle Island Marine Park, Panoramic Ocean View provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Nanaimo. This property offers access to a balcony, table tennis, free private parking and free WiFi. The homestay features mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. We had to book this accommodation late because a previous booking cancelled two days before. They did us a big favour because we certainly ended up in a better location. This is a suite in a private house and the host, Yelen, was very welcoming. We had a car so we could get to anywhere we needed to go. Lots of deer on the footpath each day. We had a beautiful balcony that overlooked Nanaimo. Highly recommend.

Some units in the bed and breakfast have private entrance and are fitted with wardrobe and outdoor furniture. There is also a well-fitted kitchenette in some of the units equipped with a microwave, a toaster, and a fridge. At the bed and breakfast, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Fabulous place to stay the mouse quiet and beautiful that was very comfortable. The house was lovely. The hosts were very accommodating. The hot tub was the icing on the cake only thing that needed to be addressed was you can only plug in one appliance in the kitchen at a time otherwise the fuse tripped. I think they just need to fit higher amp breaker on their fuse board, but I will be back.

Offering a garden and garden view, Winter's Hideaway Suite is situated in Ucluelet, less than 1 km from Big Beach and a 13-minute walk from Ucluelet Aquarium. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. This was the perfect place to stay! The suite was very comfy and the hosts were amazing. They even let us know that the road was going to be closed for the day so that we could plan around it. Great communication. Would 100% stay again.
