We stayed at Urban Oasis Basel for one night during our trip for the Eurovision Song Contest, and it was the perfect base for exploring this vibrant city! From the moment we arrived, Nikolai, our host, was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. He took the time to give us some fantastic local recommendations—from great places to eat to must-see sights around Basel—which really helped us make the most of our short stay. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. One of our favourite features was the lovely porch, a peaceful little spot to sit out and unwind after a day in the city. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from the centre of Basel, with shops, restaurants, and transport links all close by. Whether you’re in town for an event or just visiting for leisure, it’s an ideal place to stay. We only wish we had more time there! Thanks again to Nikolai for being such a thoughtful and informative host. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Basel.

The location is perfect for us. We can reach Basel in 30 minutes by car. There is parking space at the private ground. The apartment with good internet connection is spacious, quiet , safe, comfortable and has everything for a short stay. The host family living in the same building can be reached easily when we have questions and need help. The two dogs are cute and adorable.

I was really happy with my stay at Kalimera in Pratteln. I stayed a few days for a concert and for exploring Basel. Location is really good. Z7 arena is only a few minutes walk away, same goes for train station and convenience store. The room was clean and well prepared. The staff working at Kalimera is really nice. Overall, im happy with my stay there :) I recommend it to other people

Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.
