The property is 80 metres from the city centre and 21 km from Giessbachfälle. Loved this place so much that the next time I stay here I want to make a point of staying here. Great location, right in between both train stations, close to food and restaurants was quite clean, kitchen area was very well equipped and great common area. Breakfast in the morning was good as well and staff were very helpful.

Free WiFi is available in all areas and Interlaken is a 5-minute drive away. We spent 4 nights here in a beautiful room with lake view. The landscape is wonderful, no words to describe it. The location is really good for those who travel by train and bus. The train station is about 5-10 minutes away via the main street - we don't recommend the shortcut because there is no light there in the evening. The room is simple, clean and cozy and warm enough for winter. The beds are pretty comfortable. We were also happy with the breakfast - nothing too fancy but enough to choose from. Very professional and polite staff. We were allowed to self checkin because our train arrived pretty late and the procedure was smooth. Overall, we think it is a good choice and we would go back on any ocasion. Thank you!

Modern guestrooms are decorated in light colours with patterned fabrics; all include satellite televisions and balconies and free WiFi. Fantastic location next to the station. Great room plenty of space for 3 people. In reception free tea & coffee lovely when back in from a cold walk. Hotel is right in the town plenty of shops. Wonderful choice at breakfast. Staff couldn't do enough especially Doreen on reception plenty of knowledge of the area. Great help when planning our day. Thomas also on reception had a problem with the TV sorted out within minutes. Everything we asked was dealt with kindness and politeness.

Wonderful breakfast with an excellent variety of food, breads, rolls, cereal and hot and cold drinks. The meats and cheese were fresh and service at the proper temperature. Just a wonderful breakfast surrounded by a spectacular view of the lake and mountains.

The property has city views. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We had a great stay at the Modern City Apartments in Interlaken! The apartment was spacious, very clean, and beautifully modern — fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, providing a detailed manual with all the instructions and tips to make our stay smoother. The location is convenient — within walking distance to downtown, about a 16-minute walk to Interlaken West train station, and close to restaurants and a Coop grocery store. The host also provided us with the city guest card, which allowed us to use public buses and travel between Interlaken West and Ost stations for free. Overall, a lovely stay and a great choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Interlaken!
