He is truly a remarkable young man. We highly recommend the place and his guiding services.

The breakfasts were just right - simple and healthy with delicious fruit, vegetable, cheese and baked goods. Sonia and Francisco were wonderful hosts. They made excellent tour recommendations and oriented us to the island on our arrival and during the stay.

The space was well managed and the veranda was such a wonderful design over looking a soft lawn with bright blue sea just a bit ahead. Yes, the western coast line was a brief walk away and the view of the sunset was breathtaking. The location was a perfect one with the main town and swimming area just a brief walk away. Even the tour operator found it so convenient to pick us up. The break fast was so appealing and adequate while maintaining a good taste. They had adequate drinking water supply with a good kettle for tea and coffee. But the best part was Ms Angela the young lady who looked after the reception and the housekeeping. Her positive energy and helpful attitude made my wife and I truly happy with the stay. Well done Team Takarua Lodge. I recommend this as the best property in town as it was truly the best value for money too.
