The house itself is really beautiful, it’s an old house with hundred of years of histories. All the facilities in the house is perfectly equipped for your need, they even have free parking prepared for you! What more can you asked right? Overall perfect place with perfect price.

This hotel is located a few minutes' walk from Lake Forggensee, 8 km from Füssen town centre. It offers country-style rooms and a terrace with a panoramic view of the Allgäu Alps and the royal castles. This is my 2nd visit. First was in 2017 and it was fantastic then. 2nd even better because they’ve added on to their property a whole new 2nd bldg with a wellness spa(sauna, steam and pool). The views are also breathtaking from the hotel. Location is perfect.

It stands in a quiet residential area of Füssen, a 15-minute drive from the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. What an amazing place to stay at. We were on a European tour traveling on a motorcycle and it was very hot when we arrived. We were greeted with an ice refreshing lemon drink on checking in. The owner said to put my Motorcycle in their garage. The room was absolutely amazing. My wife loved the room which was pristine, A nice balcony that we sat on in the evening enjoying drinks from the mini bar. Would definitely stop again. Breakfast was beyond belief. The presentation and quality was amazing. If you are ever in the area definitely stop here

Decorated in a country house style, the elegant rooms at the Landhotel Guglhupf feature a private bathroom and high-quality wooden furniture. Great breakfast, very friendly staff, and each day in the afternoon free coffee and cake. We were very pleasantly surprised. Close to Schwansee and Neuschwanstein castle.
