The location was close to the town’s amenities but not too close, so there was no hustle and bustle leading to a relaxing stay when at the accommodation.
Milne's Brae was large enough for our two families, even allowing for a bit of private space. Milne's Brae was hassle free, allowing use to focus on having a good break.

This was a lovely place to stay. Communication was excellent, the accommodation is first class, lovely room, comfortable bed, excellent en suite facilities. Classy furnishings and personal touches throughout the property. Breakfast was superb, excellent choice to suit all tastes with home made jams and a fantastic Scottish fry up ( the only time I allow myself). Genny was a charming hostess and could not do enough to make our stay special.

This was our second stay at Lys-Na-Greyne. The standard of accommodation is exceptional. Joyce and Garry made us feel very welcome and provide an excellent breakfast. The house is in a beautiful location with lovely views across the river Dee.

As my husband is an architect, we appreciated the attention to the aesthetics and the functioning of the accommodations. We were extremely delighted to find that the apartment contained a washer/dryer that allowed us to launder our clothes. It's within steps of a grocer, a baker, a coffee shop, and a store that sold everything.

Where to begin.. communication beforehand about key collection, detailed instructions for when in the house, very clean home and well thought out with what a guest might need. Our daughter 9 and dog were sad to leave. We will definitely be trying to book again to come back one New Year. We have stayed in a lot of holiday homes and this has been the best for the home itself and location.

Amazing location and accomodation. Pots very nice, owners very helpful and view from pods is unforgettable. All necessary facilities provided. Be aware that pods are small size, so room for laguage is limited. Whashroom and the snug clean and tidy. - In overall staying here is an amaizing expierience.

Quaint apartment just north of Stonehaven. Very nice host who went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. Comfortable beds and very clean accommodations. Came with yogurt, juice, fresh bread and marmalade as well as tea and coffee. The huge bonus here is the beach. What a treasure! A short hike from the apartment and you’re on a mystical, craggy-cliffed private beach. Absolutely stunning! My kids even braved the North Sea for a quick dip.

We stayed for 3 nights with a Family of 7 (4 adults /3 children) The property is in a fantastic quiet location with views of Craigendarroch Hill out the window and access to many local trails right on the door step, The owner Neil gave us a very warm welcome and couldn’t have done more to ensure we had a good stay, we had his number and knew he was there had we needed anything but the attention to detail within the prep of the property ensure we wanted for nothing.. genuine 10 out of 10 accommodation and owner..
