Found in an Edwardian building formerly home to the Anchor Line Shipping Company’s headquarters, this city centre aparthotel is inspired by a 1920s ocean liner. With original 1906 features, there are glazed tiles, terrazzo flooring, timber wall-panelling, fireplaces and even the original safes. The hotel itself is stunning, a white building that seems to glow amongst its sandstone neighbours. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. I stayed in a deluxe one bedroom apartment which was spacious, beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Excellent amenities in the room including a washer/dryer for clothes, dishwasher, full kitchen, separate dining room and fantastic water pressure in the shower. I had a beautiful view as well, and the location was superb- walkable absolutely everywhere- 6 minutes to Glasgow Central train station, Queen Street Station is about 2 min around the corner and it's a 10 min walk to Buchannan Bus Station which is where most tours into the lochs and highlands depart from. Unbelievably convenient for dining as well, with the Anchor Line, the Atlantic, the Citizen and Wetherspoons on either side of the hotel and Gregg's- a Scottish institution- directly across the street for sausage rolls. Would absolutely stay here again, it was easily one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.

The private Auchendennan Farm is within easy reach of the local towns and activities. Cruin, Duck Bay, and the Cameron House Hotel are all walking distance from the cottages. Boturich Castle and Luss are just 5 minutes' drive away. Great location close to the Loch, beautiful farm setting and spacious apartment. Kitchen has everything you might need and bathroom was very spacious, equipped even with a Rowe warmer. Little fireplace felt really cozy.

Within a tree-lined Victorian terrace, this 5-star boutique hotel is located in the fashionable West End, only 30 minutes' drive from Loch Lomond. Its oak-panelled bistro serves fresh, Scottish cuisine and over 300 wines. what a magnificent hotel. every room is different. all have so much character. this old building feels a bit like hogwarts. I am sure some of the stairs moved, and some of the pictures talked. we spend hours roaming around the hotel looking for hidden gems like the reading room and even the gym (not really a gem but it was fun looking for it). breakfast is a bit pricey for what you get but the room and the buffet are beautiful. staff is amazing, funny, smart, nice and professional. I would definitely come back. hopefully soon.

The host was also so kind and welcoming.

It was one of the best glamping experiences I’ve ever had. The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by nature, with beautiful views. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, including clean restrooms, hot showers, and convenient access to drinking water. The staff was very friendly and helpful! At night, the skies were crystal clear, perfect for stargazing, and mornings were peaceful with the sound of birds all around. Whether you’re camping in a tent, RV, or cabin, this place offers a great mix of comfort and adventure. I’d highly recommend Cobleland Campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway. I can’t wait to come back! 😊

Located in the centre of Glasgow, One The Mews provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. It is situated less than 1 km from Buchanan Galleries and offers luggage storage space. The property is non-smoking and is set 300 metres from Sauchiehall Street. Everything! It was quirky and unique but so comfortable and very conveniently located. Steve - the host - met us and not only explained all we needed to know about the home but also provided eggs bread milk and cereal for our breakfasts.
