Located across the road from The Apple Inn, the wooden huts offer peaceful countryside accommodation with woodburning stoves, within reach of some of Northumberland’s favourite tourism spots, castles, beaches and coastal walks. A very spacious room above the pub.The dining experience was great and the staff were very welcoming.

We stayed in 5 different hotels during our trip to England, all of the same "level", and this hotel far exceeded all others on this trip, and definitely in the top 5 of all hotels in our lifetime travels in terms of the combination of all factors that make a stay pleasant - elegance, quality, amenities, convenience, service. Featuring private check-in and check-out, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The bed and breakfast has private entrance. What a great find at very short notice! Our room was extremely comfortable and had the best shower. I think it was my best night's sleep in many weeks of travelling. We were provided information on where we could get a meal in the next village and they even booked a table for us. We enjoyed a drink at the bar, chatting with other patrons, before setting out to get dinner. We were served a delicious breakfast in the morning before departure. The locals were all so friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this village, and this pub, on our next trip to UK.
