The host even picked me from the harbour as a storm was approaching to Cres, and saved from walking to apartment with luggage in the middle of the storm, so I am really thankful. On the other hand, if you are arriving with catamaran from Rijeka, its maybe 10mins walking distance from the apartment, but apartment is really located in strict centre of Cres where you actually see the original old streets and passages whats really something special.

We spent the days walking around the gorgeous old town and playing at the sea with our two year old daughter. This apartment is a gem and peaceful oasis to return to. We loved reading and enjoying a glass of wine in the gorgeous garden while our child napped peacefully inside. It was also so nice to have a fully equipped kitchen to make our meals. Dolores and Marino are wonderful hosts. They are so warm, inviting and attentive. They were quick to respond when we had any questions. Marino has his lovely artwork around the apartment and feels like a little art gallery. We will absolutely be back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Each unit has a private bathroom, while some rooms have a balcony and others also boast a sea view. At the bed and breakfast, all units come with bed linen and towels. I did a hiking vacation, arriving at MaMaLu was such a lovely welcome after a long day of hiking, the owners are very warm and welcoming, their restaurant right on the water is beautiful to enjoy the view and excellent food, what more do you need. The owner even offered a ride back to Cres to retrieve my car. I will definitely be back, next time with my husband .
