This place has the comfort, cleanliness, facilities of a resort at the price of a homestay so shoutout to the owners, Andy and Esni! I ended up staying 2 additional nights because I liked it so much. Food was great. The hotel is solar powered (!) which also means that you get electricity 24h/day and they bring plastic back to Waisai instead of burning it which also means no smell of burnt plastic here - these are exceptional things for Raja Ampat. The jetty is great and you can see so much from there at night. And finally I cannot highlight how clean the place is and not a single cockroach or rat to be seen around the rooms/restaurants. Beautiful snorkeling on the house reef.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. We stayed at that incredible place for 9 nights Tabari is quite a precious discovery in Raja-Ampat area. It is on Pulau Merpati, a tiny island. It takes about an hour to get there from Waisai by a speedboat only. The trip like that will take for about an hour. Brigitte and Jeff, and their incredible team make the stay of their guests unforgettable and comfortable. Tabari means: - family-like environment away from the civilization - daily shark feeding - mind-blowing sunsets - picturesque house reef with turtles and other sea creatures - exquisite French / Indonesian cuisine - diving guided by careful and experienced staff at various sites - marine trips to neighboring islands - sounds of exotics birds and tides - Milky Way in the night sky, which one cannot tear their eyes away. The electricity is available in the morning and evenings; when it is on, the internet by Starlink works like a swing. The bungalows are cozy with the WC and shower. The real gigantic shell is adapted as a wash basin. There are canopies over beds. There were on almost no mosquitos during our stay in late July. At times you can spot some little cute geckos in the bungalow, they hunt insects. There is a hammock on the verandah of a bungalow, so it is nice to chill there enjoying the view. Room cleaning is on the daily basis. Bath and beach towels are provided, which is very comfortable. Meals are served 3 times day at the large table with all the guests seated round, then it is nice to discuss with other guests what has been seen and experienced during the day. We felt at ease like in a real family. Tea / coffee, cookies and some fruit are available at the kitchen during the day. The house reef is magnificent, very vibrant, diverse, soft and stony corals, many sea creatures! Bridget carefully organizes transfers from Waisai and back, she can agree upon a taxi from the ferry to Sorong airport, she is a helping hand with all the issues.

Breakfast is available, and includes American, Asian and vegan options. Adin was the best host that we had during our Raja Ampat stay. He went out of his way to look after us by communicating clearly and showed us the best there was to offer in our snorkeling trips. He has put a lot of attention into his homestay and has a real attention for detail. Everything is new and the windows are a great touch to watch sunset or sunrise from bed. The location is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. There is a village a few minutes walk from the homestay with small supermarket to get snacks.

Boasting accommodation with a balcony, Batanta Panorama Guest' Hause is located in Pulau Batanta. Situated on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area and a terrace. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Very clean, we had very nice and spacious bungalowes with private bathroom and toilet. The food was very delicious.Also lot of vegetables whoch was great because i dont eeat meat. We had also fish snd squids. Everything was very tasty. The location is absolutely amazing. Very nice and clean beach, total quiet, real peace. The staff was very nice and funny. The communication was good. They took us to Wai island where we saw lot of animals like fruit bats, coconut crab, monitor lizard, cuscus. Then we had a manta snorkelling and we found one big manta. They also brought snacks and water and coffee for us at every trip and even cut coconuts from the tree when we were on some random little island. Loved this stay and I would go back here!!
