The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral. The property offers an onsite bakery, an artisan grocery store and a take away breakfast and lunch served daily. The view of the cathedral was just stunning. The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable and much more spacious that elsewhere I stayed in Europe and the UK. I wish I'd had longer. I really didn't want to leave.

Absolutely stunning, cosy welcoming house, lovingly decorated to a very high standard. We stayed in "Shergar" and it was a beautiful room with an extremely comfortable bed which truth be told we were loathe to leave, The bathroom was lovely and spacious with a great shower. We only stayed for one night but would be delighted to return again.

We were travelling for work - a show in Punchestown - The Mews was an oasis to return to every evening. It was the perfect location for the show - a short pretty drive cross country with no traffic. I was there for the irish Derby (5 nights stay) and it was perfect for that purpose. If I ahd a rental car as opposed to using a hit and miss taxi service it would be 15/10
